It’s that time of year again – when the Girl Scouts of Orange County sell their delicious cookies to fundraise for trips and charitable donations.
Like every year, you can purchase Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Shortbread, Do-si-dos, Cranberry Citrus Crisps, Lemonades, Rah-Rah Raisins, Savannah Smiles, Thanks-A-Lot, Toffee-tastic, Trios from any troop selling.
You will likely be able to find a table outside of Trader Joe’s right by Hancock International College.
Don’t worry if you’re on a diet or have allergies, girl scouts are trained to answer questions such as that. They can even tell you where the money will be going towards and even the history of the organization.
Next year will be the 100th year the Girl Scouts will have been selling cookies. This past year, the OC Girl Scouts sold 2,440,985 boxes and made $12.2 million in proceeds. Let’s help the girl scouts raise even more money this year.
Sales begin January 24 and go through March 6.
